The airport network infrastructure is integrated with Big Internet through diversified links at very high speed in order to ensure the best performance and maximum reliability and redundancy. The relative outgoing traffic on these circuits is optimised by ADR Tel itself in order to identify the most efficient routing each time.
ADR Tel is a licensed Internet Service Provider (ISP) and directly manages its Internet traffic through the BGP protocol.
The following configurations are provided for:
Internet Basic: Internet with maximum speed 10 Mbps
Internet FAST: Internet with guaranteed bandwidth which can be selected by the customer from amongst several possible cuts and with a maximum speed of up to 100 Mbps or higher according to customer needs.
The Internet access service is balanced (unless specifically requested by the Customer) and ensures the same download and upload speed.
The Internet access services can be associated with a VLAN (in the case of the FAST Internet service, the guaranteed bandwidth is shared amongst all accesses to the VLAN on which it is configured), or they can be activated in Stand Alone configuration, if they are certified on single workstations (e.g., customer-owned routers).
Two addressing options are provided for both Basic and Fast configurations:
Private Option
The adopted addressing permits access to the Internet (browsing, email, instant messaging, streaming, etc.) meaning that the customer's workstation cannot be addressed directly from the public Internet network.
Public Option
The adopted addressing permits access to the Internet (browsing, email, instant messaging, streaming, etc.) and enables the workstation to be addressed directly from the public Internet network, making it reachable from the outside.
The default assignment of 1 public IP address is provided. Any additional requirements and public IP addressing will be handled upon request.
